Zenni Optical Review
When I had the opportunity to do a Zenni Optical Review I was happy but a little hesitant at first. After all, I need to understand how to read my own prescription and make sure I am ordering the right glasses! Their glasses start at ONLY $6.95 and I have had many readers use them! So ordering my glasses weren’t as tough as I thought they would be!
Their form was really easy to fill out! The numbers and letters matched what was on their website and I just scrolled down and changed them to my prescription! It was really easy! Since the frames I picked weren’t small enough for me, I had to get a CUSTOM frame (it was rare but totally worth it)!
I already know what types of frames look the best on me since I have worn glasses my entire life. I was able to try different styles on in stores and I know I wanted a pair where you can see the frame on my face and were wired. I had plastic glasses and my 1 year old got to them and broke them! I knew I needed a new pair after that, plus last time I got my prescription I never did order my glasses!
First, I had no clue where my prescription was, so I called my doctor’s office and they just mailed them to me (I had the option of faxing it or stopping by to pick it up) but this way was the easiest for me. Once I received my prescription, I went to ZenniOptical.com and clicked on a few frames I liked the best. I decided not to ponder the decision too long. Whether my frames are black or brown they are going to look so similar that only I would be able to notice the difference.
When my frames arrived, I asked my husband what he thought. He responded with, “honestly?” Of course! He told me he couldn’t really tell the difference!
So my overall Zenni Optical Review is that I love my new glasses, I can finally see, and I am ready to buy a back up pair now! I went from plastic to wired and I am dying to try frameless!
How Zenni is going to save me MONEY:
–This year I skipped out on the horrible Eye Insurance! I was paying about $12 a month for it! I went for my eye exam where I had to pay $25 as a co-pay, then when it went to buy my glasses through them I got $100 to spend but ALL frames and most where all about $200.00! Okay so do the math! So (I never did order my glasses because I couldn’t justify STILL paying another stinkin’ $100 for some glasses)! TOTAL SPENT (if I bought glasses) $244.00!
—Now with Zenni: I can score a FREE yearly eye exam with my health insurance with just a $25 copay! Then I can buy my glasses for $6.95 and about $7 shipping! TOTAL SPENT: $39.00!
