Was there anything controversial in the movie?
There was nothing controversial and it was a fun movie for everyone.
Was the movie too scary for little kids?
A few of the scenes might have been a bit too intensive for really young audiences, but those scenes were played out in a fun, kid-friendly way.
How long was Migration?
Migration, despite being an adorable movie, wasn’t without its flaws. The movie’s opening scene was extremely rushed compared to the rest of the film, and the rest was dragged out, making it feel much longer than it needed to be.
Remember, the movie’s only an hour and a half long. Most of the character introductions were poorly paced, besides the antagonist who had a stunning introduction.
The movie tied together in a cute, happy ending, which is something most animated movies as of late haven’t had. Altogether it was an adorable movie, despite having flaws.
What was the movie rated?
The movie is rated PG. Only because there were a few crude jokes. Honestly, the kids in the theater with us were LOVING it! You can hear their laughter and banter throughout the entire film.
About the Movie:
This holiday season, Illumination, creators of the blockbuster Minions, Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets comedies, invites you to take flight into the thrill of the unknown with a funny, feathered family vacation like no other in the action-packed new original comedy, Migration.
The Mallard family is in a bit of rut. While dad Mack is content to keep his family safe paddling around their New England pond forever, mom Pam is eager to shake things up and show their kids—teen son Dax and duckling daughter Gwen—the whole wide world. After a migrating duck family alights on their pond with thrilling tales of far-flung places, Pam persuades Mack to embark on a family trip, via New York City, to tropical Jamaica.
As the Mallards make their way South for the winter, their well-laid plans quickly go awry. The experience will inspire them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends and accomplish more than they ever thought possible, while teaching them more about each other—and themselves—than they ever imagined.
