The BEST Swag of ALL TIME! 🙂
I didn’t have to physically be at the the BIGGEST Night of Play at The Big Toy Book’s Sweet Suite 2013 event in Chicago. I was able to make all the contacts I wanted to make and even already have reviews coming my way in the mail! I also had the BEST “swag” of all time; I had my daughter Chloe Ann two days before the big event, making me unable to personally attend but I was there virtually for sure! I had a GREAT friend and her sister go and share my contact information with all of the booths so I can be sure to make all the PR lists!
A week after the event I had a HUGE surprise in the mail, I got even more swag (no, Silly, it wasn’t another kid…that would be weird), but a HUGE box! I am SO happy that they decided to do this. One of the toughest things about attending these events is not being able to cram everything you want in your luggage! It was a FUN gift that I never expected!

Not only do I have a great friend who is willing to help promote my blog AND hers, but she was willing to walk around the conference and all of Chicago with a #FlatEnza so that I felt like I was there. Yep, I was in the hospital checking all of her updates from my phone to see where the #FlatEnza was attending!
So I might not have been able to attend the event for good reason (I was still in the hospital with my 1 1/2 day year old daughter), but I got all the benefits and felt truly loved by showing how good of a friend I have who would go around and think of me the entire trip!
I can’t wait for next year’s event so I can be there in person, but this year it was definitely unique and very memorable!
Thank you to the Big Toy Book, Laurie, Charlene, and Joey for making this possible for me! I also asked to be sure to get my contact information to a couple of particular companies and I am already in contact with their PR reps! All of you rock! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
