Ross says
Were the coaches boys at the end trying to save Michael Pearson or kill him when they shot the Russians
Zach says
Kill him so the Coach doesn’t owe him anything anymore.
MG says
No. Coach held up four fingers, meaning he helped four times and he’s owed one. He talks about his loyalty throughout—he would never try to kill Pearson. He saved him!!!
Harry Parnell says
I do agree, however I believe that 4 was indicated for the saving of Ray (Charlie hunman) when he was about to drive off, then went back to kill the two who went through the gate.
I think it’s slightly unclear at the end as the shooting could easily have killed Pearson, but I think with wearing that checkered jump suit, there was no doubt of him recognising the coaches boys, who are at this point, on there side
K Eldridge says
You forgot this one-
There’s f***ery about- Rosalind.
I have to use this line soon!
Enza Ketcham says
LOL I will have to edit your comment with *** but yes. I usually keep the bad words off the site. 🙂
Pezdel says
F**kery afoot
Ernie says
F***ery… afoot. An homage to conan doyle’s Holmes, I believe.
Jeanie says
It was “there’s f#(kery afoot”. The almost use of alliteration is mostly what makes it so cool.
Je I said to my husband we’ll have to remember to start using that.
Bill says
Fuc*ery a-foot!
Mark says
I didn’t hear the very last line in the movie…what did Mickey say to his wife??
asd says
“Any chance?”
John says
What does that mean?
kevin harper says
Earlier in the movie he went to his wife’s office. After some dialog she suggestively grabbed his crotch and he said, “Any chance?” She told him it (s**) will have to wait.
Sewwhat says
We couldn’t understand it either. And now that we’ve been told the last line, we still don’t understand.
Daniel says
It appeared from the context and the look on both Mickey’s & Roseland’s faces that the news of Fletcher’s capture was stimulating to them both. I believe M was asking if R was in the mood for romance.
Erin says
I was wondering what the last line meant too, anyone know?!
cipi says
He said to his wife, “Any Chance? and she comes in and closes the door (he obviously meant any chance for sex) and she agrees
Cat says
Wait a few years, after you grow up, and the lightbulb will come on.
Kristine says
Any chance?
T says
Believe he daid this to her earlier when she felt him up in the office “any chance” and she didn’t have time for s**.
Daniel says
R=Rosalind Pearson not Roseland
Steve says
Yes we missed the “any chance” comment too. Thanks for getting the explanation and it is a great line:)
Jeanie says
Agreed. 🙂
Jeanie says
Thank you for clearing that up. I get it now that I know what the line was. The music seemed to go up at the wrong time drowning it out. I almost thought he said enchanted or enchanting, I assumed he was admiring or complimenting her as she stood in the doorway after giving him the update.
Roy says
“Any chance?” thankfully someone knew the answer. I must have listened to it a dozen times and couldn’t hear it either. CC couldn’t even pick it up. Whew, that was a real biscuit of a problem.
Kelli says
Hello, there was a line in the movie that Mickey Pearson says, “making it uncomfortable just enough to be comfortable”. I can’t find it anywhere to check the exact quote. Do you have that detail?
SB says
It was fletcher that said it to ray, when describing the amount of money he wanted for his silence.
S says
Yep, they should have ‘post synced ‘ that last line it wasn’t clear!
Paul Galdi says
what is the very last thing Mickey says to Dry Eye at their meeting before dismissing him, I can never make it out. Sounds like, “smearny lion, in the meantime f off.. ” huh?? it’s driving me nuts. help!
Tina says
What is the poem Mickey and Roseland recited to each other?
Kevin says
More importantly, what does Raymond say to Fletcher before the greeting? Gaelic?
