The movie is based on the New York Times Best Selling book, and the film will be brought to life in theaters on August 9. I can’t wait to see it! About The Movie:

Based on the best-selling novel by Garth Stein, THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN is a heartfelt tale narrated by a witty and philosophical dog named Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner). Through his bond with his owner, Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia), an aspiring Formula One race car driver, Enzo has gained tremendous insight into the human condition and understands that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate the journey of life. The film follows Denny and the loves of his life – his wife, Eve (Amanda Seyfried), their young daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), and ultimately, his true best friend, Enzo.

    We currently have 4 doggies. We have a Mama dog named Mammas, which just turned 13, her 2 daughters, Mini and Muffin, who turned 12 last week and a German Shepherd named Kuma and she will be 2 in November. Sadly, we just lost our 2 other doggies earlier this year. We had a 15 year old Chiweinee named Pappas and an 11 year old mix named Boomer. We are big time animal lovers, especially dogs!

    We would love to see The Art of Racing in the Rain! We have loved many dogs that have let us be their humans. Our current boy is Lucky… our rescue from a breeder…. or maybe he rescued us! He’s the sweetest boy on the planet and we’re so grateful for his love.

    Lucy is our sweet girl. But since we moved here to CA with her, my dad believes that dogs belong outside. WHAT?!?! So I ignore him, his house or not, and bring her inside with us at night and when he’s not here during the day. Especially when my parents leave on vacations, we bring her inside the house most days, all day long! So HA!

    I can’t imagine a home without pets. Currently 3 amazing cats are part of the family. Though there are no dogs living with us we still are fortunate to spend plenty of time with several through family members and friends. I guess I’m a dog Auntie. I love this type of movie and look forward to watching this one!

    My first fur baby just crossed over the rainbow bridge this week. It was very, very hard but I was with Cooper til the end. He was so in tune with me and the best dog for me. I have Snowflake too and she is a 5 year old Matlipom and I am giving her extra snuggles as she misses her friend too.

    We have two beautiful kitties both with strong personalities. Tweek is 17 and Token is 14. You would think Token was still a kitten by how she acts, always jumping the wall. Literally, she jumps the hallway wall up high when she is would up.

    My fur baby was originally my daughters pup. When she moved into a different apartment animals weren’t allowed so I took my fur baby in. He’s a Bischon Frise and is such a loving soul. He is 13 1/2 years old and if one of my grandsons or any child is at my house and falls asleep he must be right beside them to protect and watch them. He is never mean and he loves me and kids with everything he is.

    I have 6 dogs. Maxine was our first. She belonged to a neighbor who didn’t want a puppy after getting a puppy so we took her, then Maxine had 3 pups, Bear, Juliet and Tinkerbell.     My doggie baby is named Princess. And best believe she lives up to her name she is carried everywhere sleeps and eats all day, always down for rubs, and loves to cuddle. My little baby is a Yorkshire terrier and miniature poodle mix and is the cutest little baby ever. I love her and she is about the only responsibility I feel comfortable with right now!
