I am a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan! I decided to not only make myself a St. Patrick’s Day themed Patrick Mahomes II shirt, but I decided that I would share my files and how I made it with all of you! This year I was really hoping for an early parade and really wanting the Chiefs to make the Super Bowl. Well…I guess I might as well make a parade shirt that has some Chiefs love in my design!

So far, I have made my family and I several of our own Chiefs inspired fan gear! Making our own fan gear is so much fun. I can sit there and craft for hours and forget about politics and craziness happening in our lives. So we are really hoping that you enjoy our St. Patrick Mahomes II shirt!

If you are wondering how much the material costs to make it here I go!
St. Patrick’s Day Mahomes Shirt
I got a $3 shirt from Walmart. It is cute! It runs small so I got a really big one because I want to be able to wash it.
Then about one role of white vinyl retails for $14.99 but if you aren’t in a hurry you can often find it on sale off from Cricut! I prefer to get it from Cricut while it is on sale for about $7! Plus, there is a lot more in one package. You could cut about 3-4 of my graphics on one role since my graphic is about 6-7 inches and the role is 24 inches long! So you are using only a couple of dollars of vinyl making the shirt material only $5! I think I should have made the design bigger to cover up more of the shirt, so maybe I would estimate about $6.50 in material.

Of course, I use my Cricut machine to create the shirt! I used my iron for awhile but I did get an Easy Press for a gift. My iron would work just as good as long as I follow the directions on the package! If you have a Cricut be sure to check out our getting started tips!
