I feel TOTALLY blessed to have visited the set of Spider-Man! Marvel fans are surfing the Internet, trying to figure out what the movie is about, who the characters are, and more! After signing lots of NDAs I learned about the movie and was able to visit the set! This post contains affiliate links to purchase tickets!
My set visit was a lifetime experience! I visited 4 of the sets and walked through a rehearsal, along with watched some of the live tapings! I had to be very quiet during taping but it was so much fun! Imagine watching gag reels in real life!
The sets I visited are iconic to the movie!
There is a huge scene in the movie that takes place on Staten Island on a ferry! This set is HUGE and amazing! When I visited the set they had a life size replica of the ferry. We learned that soon after our visit they were flying to New York to film for a couple of weeks on an actual ferry.
¬¬On the Ferry we were able to see the hydraulic special effects and we took some picture!
Washington Monument set was so fun! Prior to entering the set there were a couple of people practicing stunts. We were able to get into the elevator and snap a picture! The details of the set were AMAZING!
My favorite set was the Stark Plane! I love Iron-Man! Robert Downy Junior is so talented and amazing! We checked out amazing props and costumes from some of the other Marvel movies!
Then the last set we visited, prior to interviewing Tom Holland and Jacob Batalon at Peter Parker’s apartment! They were rehearsing and then filming on that set! It isn’t every day you are eating a peach and Spider-Man a drink right next to you. KEEP-IT-COOL-ENZA! Tom Holland is so cute and so talented! When this movie comes out he is going to be America’s new heartthrob.
You can STILL catch Spider-Man playing in theaters! So far it has made $703 MILLION worldwide!
