Selena Gomez Interview – Hotel Transylvania 2 #HotelT2

I was invited on an expense paid trip to Miami to interview Selena for her job with Hotel Transylvania 2. All opinions are my own!

There is nothing more exciting than flying out to Miami with my 6 year old for an opportunity to interview THE SELENA GOMEZ for her upcoming movie Hotel Transylvania 2 where she plays the daughter of Dracula and is married to a human and has a kid! They are waiting to find out if their kid is going to grow fangs and live a vampire life or a human life! I just had to share with all of you what the interview was like!

My precious daughter had done some of her homework and I let her watch some of Selena’s videos along with watching Hotel Transylvania 2, which she loved! My daughter is very sensitive and anything that is somewhat scary, scares her pretty easily. During the parts my husband and I both through she would be scared, she would find the humor in the situation and bust out laughing! She had a couple of questions lined up for Ms. Gomez: “Do you like singing or doing movies better?” and a couple of others!

So as we are waiting for Selena to go in the room, Selena walks in and looks at my daughter and my daughter tells her, “she is not here!” Selena asks her, “who? Who is not here yet?” My daughter gets a little nervous with a huge smile on her face and tells her again, “she isn’t here yet.” Selena says, “who, me?!” It was very cute! The applause begins and Selena looks at my daughter and says, “I think I know who wants to go first,” and points to my daughter, “you”. She got a little nervous and didn’t want to go first because she forgot her questions. So the interview began and I will share some highlights with you below. During the interview I noticed my daughter taking notes, asking to record with my cell phone, and then raises her hand and asks her some questions: “Which movie did she like better the first or the second?” To find out the answer check out some of the great interview questions below & watch the video from Periscope:

When did you start acting?

I was 7 years old. My mom did a lot of theater and I just loved watching. My mom is my hero, I admired her..I asked if I could do it and I did it.

How long did it take to voice Mavis in Hotel Transylvania?

The first one was a little harder because we were trying to figure out what made Mavis Mavis. The second one, collectively a week.

Do you like acting or singing more?

This is such a hard question. I like both. I think once I become older marriage status than I will lean toward acting a little more.

Was it fun shooting the movie?

Yeah it was a lot of fun! I am the only girl in the movie so it was kind of lonely have having some of the woman. Adam Sandler and Adam Sandberg crack me up.

I honestly loved that we focused on…accepting people’s differences. I thought it was extremely important that no matter where you come from you are accepted.

Do you know how to do the Nae Nae?

Yes I do….(A little side conversation and she begins to do the Nae Nae dance! Watch the video for more.)

So how was it revisiting this role now since she is grown up and married?

This was such a fun project. (Selena talks about transitioning herself into becoming a young woman.)

You have awesome friends. What quality in friends do you look for?

I like friends who are REAL. ,, I like having people who are honest with me and make me a better person.

Were you afraid of monsters and who is your favorite monster?

I am partial to Dracula, but I really liked the mummy. I was more freaked out by dolls.

How much Mavis are you in real life?

Mavis is much cooler than me. She is really fun and really loving and she took a chance from falling in love with Johnny. I liked that because she was fearless?

Which movie did you like better?

The 2nd one. The first one has a special place in my heart but the second one has a real family feel and I liked that!

So what is next for you?

My album Revival comes out October 10th which I am very excited about because it is an extremely personal record.

Selena Gomez is one of the prettiest and most genuine ladies I have been blessed to interview! She was amazing with the kids, adults, and the interview environment was just so happy and pleasant! I love her more NOW than ever before! <3
