Hello everyone! I am super excited to be doing a giveaway for the Secret Life of Pets Kansas City Screening for Tuesday July 5th! My family has been talking about this movie for about 6 months now! We are a dog family! We love dogs and we have two min pins that think we are their pets.
I don’t think our dogs know that they are animals. They think that they are people. Seriously! I love the personalities of my dogs and I can’t wait to learn about the personalities of the characters in The Secret Life of Pets!
My daughter is 7 and she already knows the names of the main characters! She has collected the toys in the cereal boxes, she has a book, a shirt, and already some other toys/merchandise for this movie!
My husband has already shown interest in seeing this movie and we are so excited to be going as a family together!
This giveaway is a really short turn around! You must be able to attend the screening on Tuesday! You will get 4 family passes if you win! Winners will need to respond very quickly to claim your winning tickets! (I will give you 24 hours.)
About the movie:
For their fifth fully-animated feature-film collaboration, Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures present TheSecret Life of Pets, a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.
Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in The Secret Life of Pets, which co-stars Jenny Slate, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Bobby Moynihan, Steve Coogan and Albert Brooks. Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio and Brian Lynch.

We named our dog Buffy because she had an over bite and Buffy the Vampire Slayer was very popular. I don’t know why we thought that naming a dog with an overbite Buffy made sense since Buffy killed vampires. But that was a long time ago.
In Buffy was a gentle little dog. I miss her.

We rescued our current “little” furbaby. I’ll save the gruesome details, but he was in pretty bad shape on the side of the road. The vet was amazed at his recovery once my mom rushed him to the vet. He was shown love and is the gentlest giant! His name is Samson, from the Bible, for his strength. He’s a boxer/pit mix, but is the kindest boy!

Jason, our collie, died of heart worms in 1987. He’s the only dog I’ve ever loved and never wanted another one again!

We have two dogs. Our year old Goldendoodle Leo is a sweetheart. Our recent rescue is 7 month old Kate…she’s a corgi mix and has been a handful lately! She’s still a sweetheart tho, we love them both so much! My fiancé and I have been looking forward to this movie since we saw the first trailer! We’d like to take his brother and sister in law.
Robinette says
We have a rescue poodle girl named Joie. She is queen of the house and full of funny, weird quirks. We seriously wonder what she does when we are away. Like, why are all of the couch cushions all messed up? How did she drag her dog bed clear across the floor and scrunch it up into a ball? How did she get into the basement? Isn’t she supposed to be afraid of the basement so why is she down there? And, how did she wiggle her fat butt through the staircase spindles and get upstairs? Can’t wait to watch this move and see what dogs really do when the parents are away!
