Sea Life Kansas City, located in Kansas City, Missouri, is an aquarium that showcases a variety of marine life from around the world. While they have an impressive collection of marine creatures, including sharks, seahorses, jellyfish, and turtles. This month they had some mermaids and our family loved being a part of their Sea Life Kansas City Mermaid Event.

Sea Life Kansas City Mermaid Event
The aquarium organized special mermaid appearances and shows, where performers dressed as mermaids interact with visitors and provide entertainment!
We have owned season passes in the past and I feel like this is the most educational and zen membership our family has owned. It is a perfect way to escape the summer heat and enjoy time inside a relaxing ocean!
Our family enjoyed meet and greet with several mermaids and adorable underwater interaction that was magical and fun. The event attracts a nice crowd but the aquarium is large enough to not feel cramped.
Along with mermaids, there are other amazing exhibits.
Sea Life Kansas City features a variety of exhibits showcasing different marine habitats and species. Visitors can explore themed sections, including:
Ocean Tunnel: This is a highlight of the aquarium, offering a walk-through tunnel where you can observe marine life swimming above and around you.
Interactive Rockpool: Visitors can touch and interact with marine creatures like sea stars, crabs, and more in this hands-on exhibit.
Seahorse Kingdom: Discover the delicate and fascinating world of seahorses, including various species and their unique behaviors.
Turtle Fest: Learn about different species of turtles and the conservation efforts to protect them.
Shark Cove: Get up close to different species of sharks and learn about their role in marine ecosystems.
Sea Life Kansas City offers educational programs designed to teach students, about marine life, conservation, and the importance of protecting our oceans.
Sea Life Kansas City occasionally hosts special events and experiences, such as mermaid appearances, holiday-themed activities, and sleepover events where visitors can spend the night at the aquarium! I have never attended a sleepover but the other events are so much fun!
Sea Life Kansas City is committed to promoting marine conservation and raising awareness about the importance of protecting marine ecosystems. They actively participate in conservation initiatives and work with local and global organizations to support marine life preservation.
Visitors to Sea Life Kansas City can expect an engaging and educational experience. The aquarium provides hands-on learning and is very engaging. It is a popular destination for families, school groups, and individuals interested in marine life.

I’ve noticed that your area wide garage sale list doesn’t include the Hyde park area sales going on June 10th. Always the second Saturday in June. Thanks for the compiled garage sale list.
