Samsung Galaxy 6 Camera – How does it compare to my iPhone and Droid Turbo?

Disclosure: As part of the VZWBuzz program I am asked to share tech stories on a regular basis. I was provided with the Droid Turbo and all opinions are honest and my own. I LOVE Verizon service and reviewing technology is just something I have a passion for!  My husband and I are both loyal Verizon customers so sharing and comparing all three of our Verizon devices to check out the new Samsung Galaxy 6 camera ONLY seemed appropriate and FUN!

There is nothing that excites me more than new technology (oh and a hot deal)! I have to tell you a story! A week ago I was in San Francisco! While I was there I noticed my friend Staci from 7onaShoestring.com posting some great pictures on her social media. We were both taking pictures of some of the same things and her pictures were so much more vibrant. It didn’t really hit me until we were squeezed together in a shuttle on our way to the airport. We drove past the iconic Golden Gate bridge where our driver stopped and let us snap some pictures. I finally had to ask her what filter and app she was using because her pictures just looked so much better and brighter than mine and we were looking at the same thing.

I even put our pictures side by side, and in her pictures her sky was more colorful, the water was brighter…even the grass was greener…And it is not because that is what they always say, “the grass is greener on the other side.”!!! What I found out is that her Samsung Galaxy camera was literally that much better than my iPhone 6. I have LOVED everything about my iPhone 6. I am one of those gals who just loves Apple.

So today my husband’s Samsung Galaxy 6 came in the mail. He is geek like me and wants the newest and hottest phones. Plus, his old Galaxy had been dropped one too many times. So I took a test! I went around with my different phones and took pictures of the same things. The Samsung Galaxy 6 camera is VISIBLY better. It isn’t even a small margin! I compared it with my iPhone like I did with my friend Staci’s phone. Then I went ahead and took my Droid out to take a picture and even my Droid camera was better than my iPhone…but it still wasn’t as good as the Samsung Galaxy 6!

As a blogger, the camera on a phone means so much to me! I can’t always haul my big DSLR with me everywhere I go! Plus, I always want to capture those great memories of my kids and my travels!

**The funniest part of this little review is that ALL three phones have great cameras, so I am really getting to the nitty gritty picky of it all!***

If you haven’t checked out your local Verizon store you should! They have all three of these phones and I believe they have the best service!  There are more times than less I will have service and people around me won’t.  Can you hear me? Can you hear me now? 🙂
