Exploring Oregon’s amazing parks and shores have always been on my short list of things I have to do! Not only have I finally put the trip together, I’ve had a couple of amazing sponsors join up for a whirlwind tour of Oregon! Thanks to Mitsubishi we’ll be exploring Oregon in a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander! I can’t wait to walk you through this car’s amazing features! We’ve also partnered with Activeon to get stunning HD video and pictures so you feel like you’re visiting with us!
Our first night in Oregon will be in Silver Falls State Park in a cabin, from there we will start day one. Day one will be ambitious to say the least. We will be attempting to see 15 waterfalls and Trillium Lake which has an amazing view of Mount Hood. These are such beautiful places I can’t wait to show you them up close!
Day two will have a unique college athletics theme as we will travel to Autzen Stadium, PK Park and Pre’s Rock in Eugene, OR (Home of the Ducks). It’s no secret that the hubby is a big Ducks fan, so seeing the Ducks spring football game, the Ducks baseball team take on Stanford and Pre’s Rock, the place Steve Prefontaine died in a car wreck, it will be a very unique look at Eugene. If you’ve never been to Eugene, you’ll be stunned at the history of this town, including it’s interesting link to the Simpsons!
Day three we will visit Astoria and Cannon Beach. Astoria is where The Goonies and Kindergarten Cop were filmed. We’ll visit some of the movie locations, we’ll also explore this unique town that sits on the Oregon/Washington border. From there we’ll head south to the incredible Ecola Park and Cannon Beach. We’ll explore this cool little beachfront town and the awesome beach where One Eyed Willie’s ship sails at the end of Goonies.
Day four is our departure day, though we’ve got a full day that day too. We’ll start by taking a tour and chatting with the people at HGI Graphics. This is the company behind many of the incredibly creative helmets you see on Saturday across the country. From there we’ll explore Nike’s World Headquarters quickly before calling it a trip.

I have only been to Oregon on business, I remember how beautiful it was. I do recall we went and hiked up to a beautiful mountain. There was a beautiful waterfall!

I’ve only ever been to the states once, and that was just across the border into New York, but this looks like a really fun destination! Thanks for sharing. The White Corner Creative

I’ve never had the chance to visit Oregon, or any of the west coast, for that matter, but it’s a place I’d love to see! Such a much higher altitude than what I’m used to, and so many gorgeous trees and so much nature to take in. I had no idea The Goonies was filmed there! Have a great trip!

I never knew many of the places you mentioned were based there in Oregan. Very insightful and getting to explore all those memorable places in a new car must be exciting!
