So I am not the gourmet chef I always thought I could be. Saturday is my daughter’s 3rd Birthday Party and I thought it would be GREAT to do a cupcake theme party! I am not dumb, and I knew I couldn’t make the cake on my own. I did decide to buy a cupcake shaped pan and give it a try! I am big in to easy recipes so I used a Weight Watcher cake recipe and threw in the batter and a can of coke zero. I let my daughter do all the work and she LOVED IT! I let her help!
When the cake was cooked it was time to decorate. I went to flip the can over and…..I lifted it up…and nothing. Did it again. Nothing. So I took a knife and tried to spear around the edges, but the cake was stuck. So A scooped it off as much as I can and decided to just put it back in the pan.
I skipped the icing on this one! I thought my lack of skills would be quite entertaining to some of you! Feel free to PIN THIS ON YOUR PINTEREST. ENJOY!

I think the only thing you were missing or didn’t put in was spraying the pan with Pam cooking spray so that it would come out of the pan easily. It’s really needed with pans like those. 🙂

Looks pretty much like the results of whenever I try to bake! Why the Coke?

The Diet coke is just an old WW recipe cuts the calories from the egg and oil. Pus the cake is really moist. If I had diet 7up I would have used that.

I mixed this up and keep in fridge. I use a brush and brush onto cake pan. It is so much cheaper then the release sprays you can buy. The cakes come out with no problem.
1 cup Crisco
1 Cup All purpose flour
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
Mix all together and grease and flour all at once.
(I keep in a container and kept in fridge, just mix it up again before using)
