While in LA, ABC Family invited me to attend the “Moms of ABC Family” Mixer. This mixer consisted of cocktails, horduerves, and lots of mingling with actresses who are moms or play one on TV. If you are a fan of the hit TV shows “Pretty Little Liars” and “Switched at Birth” you will know the following mom’s I met and hung out with. It isn’t every day where you get to hang out with these beautiful talented women while having a drink and snacking on some very yummy food.

Pretty Little Liars is a mystery teen show on ABC Family. The show is about 4 teens who are set to solve mysteries but they have someone name “A” mysteriously threatening to reveal their lies. Holly plays Aria’s mother, Ellen. Laura plays Ashley Martin. You probably recognize Laura from Melrose Place!

Switched At Birth
Has been reported to be the most popular ABC Family TV show. Switched at Birth is about two teenage girls who were switched at birth and grew up in two very different environments. What is totally cool about this show is that it takes place in Kansas City (that is where I live) in a neighborhood I am familiar with called Mission HIlls! When I was in high school we would play the private school in that area.
