I have had only 3 dogs and they were all pure bread min pins. These small dogs are nothing but energetic, lovable, protective over our family! Keeping a Small Dog Active

Rainbow was a HUGE distraction and still is! She is the most energetic dog and we love so much! She requires tons of love and attention and won’t stop wanting to play bite with us until she burns off some energy! Since our dogs are indoor dogs it is important to keeping a small dog active regardless of their size. They still need some exercise, companionship, and love!

Tug of War: We like to treat our dogs to a small game of tug while we are in our house.

Indoor Fetch: Our dogs are so small that sometimes throwing their toys across the room is enough running around back and forth that is enough for our dogs!

Outdoor Fetch or Stick Catching: Sometimes we like to go outside and play fetch as well!

Going for a walk: If they have a bit more energy to burn off on a long day we take them for a short walk. We don’t want to overdo it because they are small dogs!

Squirrel Chasing: In our house birds and squirrels are definitely chased a lot! They like to run toward our dogs than up the trees!  Running around trying to jump up the trees to get the animals are our dogs favorite passing time!

Getting Rainbow was a blessing!

A few weeks after we lost Penny we had a friend who had also had min pins accidentally get pregnant and have babies! We then purchased a new puppy. We needed her to help us heal so bad. Our other dog, Lucky, needed a companion to be with her in the kennel when we need to leave the house.

Those 3 weeks without Penny and before Rainbow were so tough. Lucky didn’t leave our side. We took her everywhere. We didn’t leave her alone one second. This was one of the saddest times of my life.

The fact that Rainbow was such a distraction after losing Penny makes her my champ!
