Though not a surprise, the movie does have some controversial themes. They all revolve around the theme that the government is willing to lie for its public image. This is because of the government’s plan of faking the moon landing for the sake of The Cold War.

The movie was a cute historical rom-com that intertwined comedy and love with the suspense of The Cold War. It made room for historical accuracy while still finding ways for two opposites to truly fall in love with each other.
