It also isn’t an interview and be sure that you listen better than you speak. Everyone wants to be heard whether you are working toward a serious relationship or a friendship.

Remember that speaking doesn’t have to happen all the time. Find activities to do together that you enjoy. Go to a sporting event, watch a movie, go on a walk, check out a local museum, etc. Just know that how every you get the conversation going that sometimes communication is great at first, sometimes it isn’t, and sometimes you have to work toward it. These are all OKAY. Also, sometimes (and MANY people do) communicate different online and on the phone then they do in person.
