Go Wallet is a new app that I was just introduced to a week ago and I LOVE IT!

They gave me 2 x $50 gift cards to Kohl’s and I am going to give them away to two lucky winners!

I have tons of little gift cards with a few dollars on it and lately I have received a few larger ones as baby gifts. GoWallet.com is an application for your smart phone that organizes all of your gift cards for you! All you have to do is take your gift card and enter the information in it. It will make you an electronic version of the card on your phone for you to scan!

It makes my checkout process much faster by just scanning them! I was also able to find a few bucks left on cards to places like Subway and Pizza Hut that will make for a cheaper lunch outing! They also periodically will have “HOT DEALS” where you can purchase a gift card through them for a GREAT deal!

You don’t even have to have a smart phone to use this app and can access it straight from GoWallet.com. Especially if you are an online shopper like me you will love to have access of it online and from your phone! So far the cards that I have used have updated the balance automatically for me after I have used them. If you have a smaller store gift card you might have to manually enter it but it makes it a lot better than wrapping a receipt around your last gift card and shoving it in your wallet.

Even my husband said, “This is very cool!” after explaining to him how the app works!

I have used the app at Babies R Us, Sears, and Subway last week. The did run across the subway cashier that was really confused because he couldn’t fit my phone in his swiper machine (it wasn’t a scanner). I told him he can just type it in, he looked confused so I did just hand him the gift card I still had in my wallet just in case. At least I knew my balance and that I had money available. As I left the store it updated automatically. Using Go Wallet is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

    I like that it organizes all your gift cards for you and keeps track of the balances. I don’t have a smart phone and I don’t really have too many gift cards to keep track of as I tend to use a gift card as soon as I get it but if you have multiple cards, this would be a great thing for you!

    I love that the app consolidates all your cards for one place and allows cashiers to scan it. I think this would be perfect for those times in life that we tend to get a lot of gift cards (wedding, birth, etc)

    I love that there is an app so that you can take it with you. This way if I decide I want to stop somewhere out of the blue I don’t have to guess what my balance is or run back home first to find out.

    This would be great for me because I love my wallet but it only has four slots for cards, so I don’t want to lug gift cards around. I often end up at a store I KNOW I have a card for, but I don’t have it with. And I never know their balances, I like that it tracks those.

    I like how you don’t have to have the card. So many times I don’t expect to stop in somewhere and I do, and realize that I have a gift card at home! Also, beats getting up to search for a gift card to use it online. I can have it all right there!

    I’m going to recommend this site to my daughter. She receives a lot of gift cards and this would make it easy to know what GC she still has and what the balances are. I know that she has lost a lot of $$ from gift cards that expire. Thanks for the tip.

    i’ve heard of this b/f but didn’t know much about it i think it would be so convenient and easy to just use my phone to pay especially when it’s a quick trip and i don’t want to lug my purse around with me. love that it keeps track of your balances that’s cool 🙂
