I honestly don’t remember the huge list of seasonal allergies that I am allergic too, but I do know that it includes: grass, pollen, trees, dust, and more! So when it comes to being affected by allergies it does really stink especially now when trees and grass are all over. Sometimes there are really bad days and sometimes they aren’t so bad ones but I never know how I will wake up feeling. When I was asked the review the GermGuardian True Hepa Air Purifier I asked a friend how she likes using air filters at her house. She told me, “I swear by them!” She mentioned that when her allergies are bothering her more, she will look down and notice that her air filter got turned off. Once she turns it back on she starts to feel better. Since dust and even HUMAN dander (imagine that) are part of my allergies I have moved my new GermGuardian True Hepa Air Purifier to my bedroom!

It is really hard for me to tell whether or not I can feel a difference but it did help me sleep! My allergies seem to have no rhyme or reason on the days I wake up more or less stuffy. I know it just has to do with whatever is flowing in the air.

Doctors also recommend HEPA air filtrations system to reduce exposure to indoor asthma triggers. Which is great because my daughter and I have ALL had to get prescribed albuterol at one point in time. Plus I was fascinated reading about the UV Technology! I read that it is highly effective at penetrating thin-walled viruses and bacteria known to cause: staph, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchitis and meningitis.

    I would love an air purifier! I have never used one but with 4 large dogs and anywhere from 5-10 foster kittens at times, I can imagine it would be a life saver!

    I love that it has three speeds and is ultra-quiet. I haven’t used an air purifier before but the place we’re staying for my husband’s job is stinky. I think it would help the air quality in here.

    Oh my goodness I need this so badly! I suffer from allergies but my four year old son suffers more he is allergic to pretty much everything under the son he is on three allergy medications and still has a yucky nose and itchy eyes most days 🙁 I would love to see if this would help him

    I’ve never used an air purifier before, unless you count those little 4″ high ionizers that QVC used to sell 20 years ago. I know that was nothing compared to this. (And it did nothing!) I also love the fact that this zaps mold, viruses and bacteria!

    Yes, I had one years ago and it helped my husband and daughters allergies a lot. Since we moved it has broken but I love the fact that this one is Ultra Quiet. The one we had before was very loud.

    I have never used anything like this before, but I have HORRIBLE allergies and a pretty low immune system. This would help to clean the air for both of those. My allergies get so bad that my eyes water constantly for days and look like I’ve been crying for weeks. It’s awful. This would help me so much!

The pollen count is up here and I myself find myself coughing and sneezing constantly because of it and the dust (we just moved into a home that had been empty a year.)     I haven’t used an air purifier but probably should. I see stuff floating around in my bedroom when the sun shines through. I occasionally have allergies but they’re not too bad. I love the Hepa filter, UV, filter indicator, and energy star rating on this one.

    We have went through quite a few purifiers in our house with a child that has chronic allergies to just about everything. We have been to various doctors and specialists. Tried all the over the counter and prescription meds. It has gotten to the point of being debilitating and the cost of all these treatments and equipment is costly. Ive even had to pull him out of school and home school him now. Ive more recently tried holistic remedies with fairly good results thankfully. Id love to see if this one actually helps!     Yep! I’ve used air cleaners before…I’m just looking forward to having one again…we haven’t had one to use since we got cats and my hubby is a bit allergic to them…this should help.

    I have spent many years saving up enough money to become a homeowner, and within the past few weeks I have finally found the place for me! It is small but has a wonderful yard and abutting stream. Its biggest down fall is that there is a mold problem. I have dehumidifiers but have been advised that an air purifier would work wonders in this situation, but they are quite expensive as everyone on here seems to know! This would be the best house-warming gift 🙂
