Flipp – Get Your Weekly Inserts Online & Shopping App!
It is about time someone created an app for me to get rid of all my inserts! I needed something where I can find all of my weekly inserts online! Unless my inserts have coupons, I don’t really need them anymore. I do need those coupons but all those store inserts that I would have to go through and figure out things I liked to compile a shopping list is now extinct with the new Flipp app! This app has been around for a while, but it is new to me! Now flipping through inserts is really easy!
I have done the coupon thing, obviously. I enjoy finding the best deals, but sometimes when I am working two jobs to support my family I just need something easy that isn’t going to take up a lot of time prior to getting to the store. Sometimes getting to the store is the only break I get. Now, with the Flipp app you can still use coupons, but finding the best deals just got a lot easier! This week, I took part in the Flipp Food Challenge! I went for more veggies and fruits than I usually do when only coupon shopping, plus I saved so much time by using the app! You can too!
- Download the app.
Insert your zip code to get the ads to the stores that are near you!
Go through the ads and clip whatever deals you like! This will give you a list of itemized items for the stores you like! - Make a circular. You can use these items when you are at the store because you will have your own personal circular! Get more advanced and create a shopping list!
- Make, use and reuse a checkable Shopping List. Click on shopping list and type in all of the items that you need to purchase. When you are at the store you will see if there is something that you clipped. That is also on your list! Also if you haven’t clipped it, it will also let you know if it is on sale!
So I tested out the app for the first time the other day and I wanted to share my experiences with you! I went ahead and decided that I would rather just do all my shopping at Walmart. I know that they price match for me. That way I can go through my list and find all of the items I need there. What is tricky about price matching at Walmart is lets say you find some fruit that is sold by the lb at one store but Walmart sells it by the item. THEN you can’t price match that item. So I bought what I needed and what they had!
Using the app, made me a smarter shopper. If there was something I wanted and I didn’t need it I held off on that item and tried to stick to the sells. I was able to fill up my grocery card with all of the items that Walmart and other stores had advertised in their weekly ads! One of the features that I did not notice that first time I used, was the discount slider! Go to your favorite insert and slide the bar and have all of the parts of the ads highlight for you, to find the biggest discount!

Wow, if we would have a similar app available locally then that would be great. Flipp is really an innovative app that’s super helpful for coupon shopping and just finding the best deals out there. The discount slider will be my favorite feature.

I am going to have to check out this app. We dont get a Sunday paper. Most of the papers in my area have gone digital. The few big cities, to get them delivered isnt cost effective in the savings department.

I hadn’t heard of this app. It sounds amazing! It’s the best way to use coupons for me. We don’t get a paper so I don’t clip coupons. Having them available via an app works for me.

I haven’t tried out Flipp, actually never heard of them so thanks for sharing, I have tried out a couple, but mostly directly from the stores themselves which is of course bombarding my phones with thumbnails so if this can help me combine all that stuff in one place so I can actually what my phone wallpaper looks like anymore that would be great! 🙂
