Earlier this month, I traveled to LA and I interviewed the very talented and famous Fergie! She will be performing LIVE at the AMA’s on Sunday, November 23rd on ABC! the American Music Awards features performances from the best and most popular artists that fans voted for in different categories! The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions and is seen all over the world!
Performing LIVE at the AMAs this year is Fergie, Lorde and One Direction. Fergie will be performing her new hit single “LA Love”. The host will be Pitbull!
I was always a fan of Fergie’s music! After all, I probably did dance to all of her songs at one point of my life! After getting the opportunity to interview her for the AMAZING AMA’s, like any new mommy would want to do we talked about her precious baby and being a mom the entire time! Being able to hang out with her and learn about her passion that she has for her baby and her family was very neat and special!
Voting for New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s will open on November 1 and will remain open throughout the first hour of the ABC live broadcast on November 23, with the winner being announced in the final hour. Fans can vote via AMAVote.com and Twitter.
Fergie recently announced that she has been in the studio working on the follow-up to her 2006 solo album “The Dutchess,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and spent 94 weeks on the chart. The album went on to sell 6.2 million copies and 28.5 million tracks worldwide and spawned three No. 1 hits on the Hot 100: “London Bridge,” “Glamorous,” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” as well as the Top 5 singles “Fergalicious” and “Clumsy.” Since “The Dutchess’” release, Fergie has also released two multi-Platinum albums, “The E.N.D.” and “The Beginning,” with The Black Eyed Peas– with whom she has sold 31 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide. The Black Eyed Peas’ videos have been viewed over 1.8 billion times on their YouTube channel.

During our Q&A she said that her favorite thing besides fashion is her Career! She loves anything that has to do with entertaining!
We asked her how does she balance it all? “That is a constant challenge for me. That is why I didn’t have the baby and then put music out right away…I wanted to have the structure of being a mom…and being able to learn how being a mommy works.”
She shared with us that right now all she wants to do is write about her kid! She talked a lot about balancing her schedule and using her iCal!
