This is the first year I have decided it was time to introduce my daughter to “Elf on the Shelf”. Before Elf on the Shelf started we read the book. My daughter was a little confused when I asked her to name our female elf and she was calling it “Elf Shelf”. “Elf Shelf” appeared on Thanksgiving morning on our lit Christmas trees on the front of our porch! We started with reading the book on Thanksgiving night and my daughter came up with the name “Sparkle”! I loved it so we officially named “Elf Shelf” her new name of “Sparkle”!
“Sparkle” LOVED her new name so much that she decided to visit the next morning in a bright pink sparkly stocking and she brought a Candy Cane from the North Pole!!! My daughter asked the next day if she got another Candy Cane!
My daughter was gifted a Holiday Barbie from her grandparents. The next day “Sparkle” borrowed one of barbie’s dresses and enjoyed cookies and chocolate milk with Barbie! Where will Sparkle appear tomorrow! Only a good night’s sleep will tell! I will be sure to update you every few often!
