To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial movie, I knew I wanted to create an E.T. Craft! Our family loves having themed movie nights where we also create a craft along with having a movie night! This post is sponsored and contains affiliate links.
The question is why are there not many E.T. Crafts online? I knew right away that I needed to share the one I came up with with my family!
We were so excited to get this movie! Our family visited Universal Studios for the first time ever for our family vacation. My youngest was terrified to ride anything when he had gone. So after my oldest and I went on the E.T. ride at Universal, we knew our youngest would enjoy it!
We found the ride really calming, plus the nostalgia of growing up watching E.T. made it so fun to go through the moving ride!
We convinced my youngest that it wasn’t scary and she loved it! She asked if we can watch the movie and periodically since that trip she has been asking to see it.
Can you believe it has been 40 years since the release of the movie? You can now purchase the 40th Anniversary DVD/Blu-ray that comes with tons of new bonuses!

Cut out a circle to use as a stencil on dark blue paper. Cut out the ET image I made below.
Using white paint sponge paint the moon. Once it dries glue ET right on it!
