Make a DIY Wedding Decor for under $1 and still have adorable Italian Bomboniere! When Italians get married they pass out Italian Bomboniere which could get expensive. They usually include 5 candy-coated Jordan almonds that symbolize health, wealth, fertility, happiness, and longevity. They come with a little card with the couple’s information and wedding date. This post is sponsored by our friends at Cricut and contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own.
We wanted to create simple Italian Bombonieres that you can make with your Cricut machine and make them really affordable! The idea of Bombonieres is that your guests will have a special souvenir to take home with them after the event. They are sometimes used as place cards and decorations and then often used for the couple to pass around to each guest during the wedding and/or wedding shower. They are also given out at other special events like Baptisms and First Communions.
During weddings, the five almonds symbolize health, wealth, fertility, happiness, and longevity for the couple.
