Did you know there is a new series called Dino Dana that premieres on Amazon Original Kids! This is a follow-up series from the Emmy Award winning show Dino Dan! I am excited to share some dinosaur craft activities that you can do with your kids that are based around the premiere show that airs this Friday, May 26th on Prime Video!
Dino Dana
Dino Dana has the familiar start and feel is Dino Dan. Dana is into dinosaurs, exploring them, and watching them come to life with her imagination. She loves to do dinosaur crafts and play with her sister!
Dino Dana Premiere:
After a chance encounter with Trek and his Dino Field Guide, Dana (Michela Luci), a “paleontologist in training,” begins to see dinosaurs all around her, leading to plenty of action and adventure. Each episode of the awe-inspiring series features illuminating facts about dinosaurs and applies them to kid-relatable experiences. Created by J.J. Johnson (Dino Dan, Annedroids), the series is executive produced by Sinking Ship partners Johnson, Blair Powers and Christin Simms with animation executive produced by Matthew J.R. Bishop.
Dino Dana Premiere Activity:
When watching the premiere, he is a Q&A that you can do with your kids! This show is a fun way to encourage your kids to learn about dinosaurs and science!
Watch the episode Dino Field Guides and answer these following questions:
Dino Field Guides Q&A to discuss with your kids:
How do alligators project their babies? They put them in their mouth to protect them.
How are dinosaurs like birds and reptiles? They had feathers like birds and they scales like reptiles and had babies and eggs like both of them.
What is Dana’s favorite dinosaur? The troodon.
What dinosaur has 3 horns? Triceratops
Who are the King of the Dinosaurs: T-rex.
How do troodons protect eggs. They do them like reptiles and birds. They make loud noises like birds and then run and hide them like reptiles against bigger reptiles.
Dino Dana Premiere Crafts:
Dino Dana will feature lots of different dinosaurs. In the first premiere episode, we learn about troodons! These are Dana’s favorite dinosaurs! Today I created a drawing of a troodon that you and your kids can color, glue some feathers on it, and make your own troodon egg! My girls and I loved designing our own troodon eggs!
Print your troodon head HERE!
Gets some feathers!
Color an egg that you cut out on a blank piece of paper, color your troodon beak, and then use double sided tape to tape your feathers on your troodon!
