There aren’t a lot of Kansas City Chiefs Promo Events for Kids but the ones that they do have are done right. They are some of the best memories we have had for our family.

Training Camp Family Days

Saturday, Aug. 5th, 2023 at 9:15 am, $5 Admission Fee

A short trip to St. Joe makes for some really fun days to take your kids to watch the Chiefs players and rookies practice for the upcoming year. The Family Fun days are the ones where you can find lots of surprises like food, giveaways, photo ops, bouncy houses, team autographs, obstacles, and more!

First Friday With the Chiefs

The Chiefs are going to be doing something new this year! This event will support the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District. First Friday will be hosting a Chiefs-themed street from 5 – 9 p.m. on W. 19th Street from Wyandotte St. to Baltimore Ave. Your family will be able to enjoy entertainment with live music, live mural painting, local artist pop-ups, merch sales from Charlie Hustle’s new Arrowhead Collection line, and more.

Red Friday

Prepare for Red Friday with your favorite Chiefs gear. The entire city wears red! We love the Charlie Hustle KC shirts and usually like to grab ones we find here.

Red Friday Flags

The city is painted RED! Wake up early with your kids and purchase your themed yearly Chiefs flag from participating Mc. Donalds!

Red Friday Run

A virtual race for your entire family! As part of the race registration, participants will get this year’s Red Friday flag with proceeds benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, an exclusive Red Friday Run t-shirt, a free 30-day all-access pass to both Chiefs Fit locations, their race bib, and the option to add on an exclusive long sleeve athletic half-zip pullover! 

Movie Night

Chiefs Kingdom Kids members (free to join) get to enjoy more family fun at Arrohead and watch a movie from the field! You can bring some blankets to lay on and be ready to have some fun with other great games.

Trick-or-Treat Bash

Date: TBA

This event is also for Chiefs Kingdom Kids members. It is one of our favorites. Kids get to go to the Clubhouse and enjoy food, dancing, games, prizes, arts and crafts, and go Trick or Treating with a lot of Chiefs Cheerleaders and fill up with candy and free swag!

Christmas Magic of Lights

Date: TBA

I have yet to find out if they are coming back again this year but it was a lot of fun in previous years. Your family gets to drive through a dazzling drive-through holiday lights experience spectacular display of lights and at the end, you can enjoy ice skating, hot chocolate, and Chiefs photo opportunities. The entire display is set up at GEHA field in the parking lot! It was $25/vehicle.

Kansas City Chiefs Murals

There are a lot of Chiefs Murals across the city. Although, these aren’t sponsored by the Kansas City Chiefs, taking your kids across the city to see the beautiful art and snap some fun pictures is a great and free activity to do with your kids!
