The movie is about a dog who is becoming a Samurai, so what better way to do an easy origami papercraft! Since origami is featured in the movie, your kids should have fun making these! If they can make an Origami hat they can make a samurai hat.

I love being able to go and see a brand NEW movie that isn’t a sequel. The creativity and storyline with fresh new characters are always fun. There is no homework to see this movie and it has some great positive messages!
The kids LOVED the movie and I also enjoyed myself at the screening! If you like doing movie activities as we do, we thought it would be fun to show you how to make a Samurai Helmet in origami that you can use as a bookmark!

Origami Samurai helmet instructions are below! There is a line in the movie that says, “you can make anything out of paper.” This is what motivated me to share this craft with you.

About the movie:
A hard-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain’s (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map.
