Well Fluff My Feathers, I Had the BEST TIME EVER with The Angry Birds Movie 2 Folks!
They say dreams are made in Hollywood. I know this to be true because my dreams came true on a beautiful spring day in (West) Hollywood at the exquisite London Hotel West Hollywood. No, no, I wasn’t finally discovered for my fantastic singing and dancing skills (though someone really should offer me a record deal or a movie contract or at the very least a free coupon for a Karoke bar or something), I got to do an art project with the Director and Production Designer of The Angry Birds Movie 2!
No, really! I hung out with Director Thurop Van Orman and Production Designer Pete Oswald (along with a bunch of cool bloggers!) under a picturesque blue sky with a plate of hors d’oeuvres in one hand a paint brush in the other.

So what did they have us do? We created a print using stencils, paint, and Frisket Film. Not only did they talk warmly and excitedly about the terrific new movie they have coming out soon, they were happy to jump in by painting and offering advice and help. They were awesome sports and took every picture asked of them and in fact took over our cameras quite a bit!
Sony pictures really planned a great trip for me and other bloggers to promote The Angry Birds Movie 2 which comes out August 14th. We had a lovely luau and screening with the Producer, John Cohen, the evening before we were able to interview Mr. Cohen, Rachel Bloom and Jason Sudeikis. All of this happened amidst glorious signature cocktails and themed snacks.
I am so excited for you to see The Angry Birds Movie 2 on August 13th. It is hilarious. The cast, crew, and Sony Pictures reps I met took a lot of pride in this movie- and for good reason.
