Smallfoot Review – Was it about Religion?

Smallfoot is definitely a movie worth seeing and I thought it was great for the entire family. There is one world and two seperate places. The Yeti land which is high above the clouds and also the human land which is at the bottom of the mountains. The yeti’s have stones, or laws, that they follow. We learn that these laws are lies that were created to protect the Yeti since humans believed they were monsters and tried to hurt them. I know that after watching the movie many people are going to wonder if the story was about religion.

The movie parallels how how monsters are living their purpose based on fake laws. Eventually, they discover a human, “Smallfoot”, which shows that the stones they have been following aren’t even real and they are fake.

Once they learn the truth, both Yetis and Humans, have to stand up for each other and learn to get along.

I don’t feel like ignoring the fact that some might feel that this movie correlates to religious beliefs being lies. I want to remind everyone that I am not sure if Warner Bros. wanted the storyline to correlate with religion or not. The message clearly shows that the yeti’s should follow and learn the truth, The Truth.

Fandango- Smallfoot in Theaters 9/28!

The movie has amazing songs, it is cute, and entertaining. It is a great family film. I wasn’t offended and I didn’t even think that this movie could possibly be going against religion and faith. After all, yetis aren’t even real.

Definitely take your family to see the movie, enjoy tons of laughter in the entire theater, and enjoy the awesome songs that were created for the film.

Our favorite part was the relationship with Percy and Migo! There is something definitely special and adorable with how they get along!  There are also great Smallfoot Quotes and lines from the film! If you have seen the film let us know your favorite!
