Truman Library Easter Event

Hey Kansas City Families! If you and your family are huge sports fans you are going to get excited about the Truman Library Easter event, Harry’s Hop’n Hunt! Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be there and so will Frank White! Your family is going to have a blast doing a story time, Easter roll, egg hunt, and be a part of the Easter parade!

It is free to be a part of it and all you have to do is sign up! They are not only inviting families but you can also reach out to them to volunteer! The event will take place Saturday, March 31st from 10am to 12pm at the Harry S. Truman Library & Museum (500 West US Highway 24, Independence, MO 64050) then on the Square from 12pm to 5pm! Here is what the day looks like:’

Schedule of events:
10:00am – Story Time on the Steps with Mayor Eileen Weir
10:10am – Egg Roll Race Round 1 (White House style)
10:35am – Story Time on the Steps with Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes
10:45am – Egg Hunt (Bring your own basket) (Kids 12 and under.)
11:00am – Story Time on the Steps with Royals baseball legend and County Executive Frank White
11:10am – Egg Roll Race Round 2
11:35am – Story Time on the Steps
11:45am – Egg Hunt (Bring your own basket)
12:00pm – Easter parade to the Independence Square for more family fun activities.

All are welcome to this FREE event but RSVPs are requested for the Harry’s Hop’n Hunt Egg Roll.
