If you are a teacher you are pretty excited to share this movie with your kids that I am hoping our Disney•Pixar Coco Lesson Plans help make your planning a little easier! The movie is finally out, and it is time to share with your kids, students, and friends!
In this lesson plan, the best “hook” that you are going to have to teach your kids about the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) is going to be to show them the beautiful movie COCO. To keep students engaged I created an optional worksheet that they can fill out with general comprehension questions from the film. Pause the movie throughout viewing it to talk about it.
We created our Coco lesson plan so that you can teach students about the Day of the Dead and also incorporate this Oscar nominated movie into your lessons! Enjoy our free worksheet, and activity ideas to use in your classroom. If you loved our Inside Out Lesson Plan, which many of my teacher readers did, then this Coco lesson plan is going to be one that never expires!
