I am super excited to share with all of you that my daughter and I were invited to the Peter Rabbit Press Junket and Red Carpet in California. We hope that you follow along all of our adventures this weekend as we get to screen the film, interview the cast, celebrate Blue Jacket day, and walk the Red Carpet. This is my daughter’s first Red Carpet experience and I am so humbled to share it with her.
For several years now, as she has started to realize what I do as my job as a blogger, she has asked when she can go on a Red Carpet. I have shared with her that she needs to be much older. The couple of times I have been able to take a guest, I have taken a contributor to help with social media and writing. She now gets to see that my traveling is a lot of fun and also a lot of work. ☺
When a classic comes to life on the big screen and around on of the biggest Holidays of the year, it becomes a must-see family film. I have had intentions to go and see “Peter Rabbit” after seeing the initial teaser trailers in Kansas City. I knew right away that this childhood story that I grew up with, is something that I can now share with my kids.
We filled up with Peter Rabbit books at our local library and we are waiting for the movie to come out so we can all go on opening day during our church’s 40-day celebration of Lent!
Peter Rabbit Press Junket
Our itinerary looks amazing with several activities. On Thursday evening, we get an early screening of the movie. We then get to have breakfast, have our hair and makeup done, and interview the cast with our kids. We have Peter Rabbit themed activities that we will be sharing on social media. The next morning we will be walking the Red Carpet!
Peter Rabbit Movie will be in theaters on February 9, 2018!
Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne). James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.
