To celebrate the theatrical debut of Sony’s THE STAR movie we wanted to share a really easy to craft that you can do with your kids! There is something special about the Star of Bethlehem, so special that this cute and adorable Christmas movie with such a great message, named there story about this star. I found that Moravian Stars are often used as Advent stars. Since Christmas celebrates the start of Advent I thought making a fun and easy craft with your kids would be fun! After making our Moravian Star Paper Craft my little one was convinced it should go on top of the tree.
Moravian Star Paper Craft
The Star movie is really special since it does a good job at following the Christian Christmas Story on why we celebrate Christmas. The Star of Bethlehem is the star that the animals follow throughout the story. It is also the star that Mary and Joseph are following and where the birth of Jesus will happen.

This is definitely a movie that will be shown every year around Christmas! I wanted to create a fun and easy paper craft that resembled an Advent Star.
The Moravian Star Craft is super easy to make and makes for great Holiday decorations.
- Cut out 3 equal size stars. Download these three stars or any other ones you might like.
- Fold them in half.
- Glue half of the first star to the second half on the second star, then the second star’s other have to the third star. Then the third star gets glued back to the first.This gives a simple star a 3D look that is easy for kids and family to do.
- Variations:
- Decorate your stars with paint and glitter to make them sparkly.
- Write on each star: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to teach young kids about the trinity.
