If you are looking for an entertaining show that will entertain your entire family, have you holding your breath in awe, and cheering a lot…Cirque De Solei Ovo is the show for you! Right now they are in Kansas City for only a limited amount of time. The show is about bugs, animals, life, and love!
During this show, I decided to go out with three of my girl friends! We left the kids at home and had a bit of a girls night. During the show, we all agreed our kids would love it too!
Before the show even started they performers interacted with the crowd, they even called a few people up and made them part of the show. The transitions between the acts were quick and entertaining. We had lots of people applauding and gasping during the mind blowing tricks and acrobats! The show was amazing! Possibly the best show I have ever attended! It lasted a couple of hours during it they had a 20 minute intermission. There wasn’t a bad seat in the house! If you decide to eat too while downtown you can park for only $2 underneath the restaurants below. It makes for affordable parking and a great show!

OVO is over owing with contrasts. The hidden, secret world at our feet is revealed as tender and torrid, noisy and quiet, peaceful and chaotic. And as the sun rises on a bright new day the vibrant cycle of insect life begins anew.The name OVO means “egg” in Portuguese. This timeless symbol of the life cycle and birth of numerous insects represents the underlying thread of the show. Graphically, OVO hides an insect in its name: The two “Os” represent the eyes while the letter “V” forms the nose.
