I was invited to interview Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell because of their new show “Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?” during an expense paid press trip for #DoctorStrangeEvent.
Interviewing Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell from the Bachelor was awesome! I watched Ben’s season after interviewing Chris Harrison last December. Ben was one of the most loved Bachelors who was just such a NICE and SWEET guy. He threw everyone for a loop when he was down to three different girls and actually told two of them he loved them! I believe that most of America agreed that he made the best choice!
The two lovebirds are now engaged and have had several months to live their life as a couple! They now get to live their life in front of cameras every day for America to watch! They were recently asked if ABC can film their entire wedding and are going to give them a very giving budget to do so! Ben had some doubts!
This new show is called Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After?
The show is cute and fun! They are definitely a very likable couple with a lot of fans! You can enjoy their quirkiness and watch them go through planning their life and planning their wedding together!
Interviewing Ben and Lauren was interesting and fun. Ben and Lauren together were now in another room with almost 25 middle age women, except none of us where wanting to date him and he is no longer single.
This newlywed couple is so sweet, nice, and adorable! We interviewed them right after watching last week’s episode!
We asked some questions about the show and what they are up to now:
About the prank
Ben explained to us that he didn’t know if he had the option to say “NO” since he was in the middle of a reality TV Show!
About the Renaissance Fest
Ben: We had the best day. It really was…The coolest parts is showing Lauren that people can just be completely, for lack of a better term, weird.
Lauren: We were talking, if we have kids one day it would be so fun to them here in their little princess outfits.
About Holidays
Lauren: His family’s in Indiana, mine’s in Portland. I think we’re going to do, we’re going to alternate Thanksgivings, so like, this year we’ll spend Thanksgiving with my family, and then next year with his. And then hopefully every Christmas, we’ll try to go great places. That is the one great thing about this whole show, and all that, is it’s allowed us to have a little bit more flexibility when we’re not filming, so we can take two weeks around the holidays, and go to each separate household.
Does Lauren have a PRANK planned for you this Halloween?
Lauren: Usually my go to prank is to try to sneak up behind him.
Then Ben told us a funny story of him seeing her trying to hide at his parent’s house and he sees her. So he just sat there and she waited for like 10 minutes or so to jump out. He can see her feet scurrying behind his parent’s cabinet.
Our conversations continued with if they hang out with other Bachelor contestants, the twins, and the hardest part of having the cameras around them all of the time.
Be sure to catch Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After on ABC’s newest station Freeform (formally known as ABC Family). The show airs Tuesdays at 7pm CST on Freeform!

I’ve never watched the show but I have to point something out. Doesn’t the guy look a LOT like Peter Brady?!

This sounds like a really fun couple. I’ve always had trouble with dating reality shows because I’m more of a “date-one-person-at-a-time” type person, but I’m glad things worked out for them.

Looks like a very interesting show and they make a nice couple. I can’t imagine planning a wedding with cameras rolling – if they can handle that they can probably handle anything!!
