Ghostbusters 2016 Review – Family Movie?

I am so excited to finally share my Ghostbusters 2016 Review! You are probably asking yourself is this a family movie? I am so excited to share with all of you what I thought of the movie and of course my favorite Ghosbusters movie quotes!

Whether you are a fan of the original Ghostbusters or not, you will love the new movie! I seriously was laughing so hard the entire time. There were parts that made me jump and scream and then afterwards I was laughing. The movie is funny and it is definitely a family movie!

Ghostbusters was so upbeat, energetic, and really well written! It exceeded my expectations and had me on the edge of seat laughing and jumping! It was a great family comedy.

Ghosbusters is NOT a remake of the first two films from 30 years ago. It is a different movie with the same concept of 4 people trying to catch ghosts. These four talented actresses just so happen to be women. The writers were not trying to cast women in this movie, it is how it worked out. We learned that they didn’t cast the roles based on gender. Patty in the movie had a line that follows this thought process, “If it is a crime to look good, guilty as charged!”

The stars in the movie do an amazing job and their chemistry is on point (like eyelashes).  Chris Hemsworth is so dumb and so PERFECT this guy can’t do anything wrong!
