Celebrate America Worlds of Fun – Our WEEKEND adventure and yours!
I am so excited to have teamed up again with Worlds of Fun! If you are in the Midwest, this is our rollercoaster park that is completely family oriented, tons of fun (worlds of it), family rides, thrill rides and more. They have some great promotions throughout the year!
With the 4th of July being around the corner, and being a military family, we want to celebrate in all ways possible!
We are headed to Worlds of Fun! Each night they have an amazing display of fireworks that we can actually hear from our house! My husband has taken my oldest in previous years, but this year I get to go too!
Worlds of Fun is celebrating Independence Day all weekend long! They will have a full fireworks display every night at 10pm on 7/1, 7/2, 7/3, and 7/4! It isn’t just about the fireworks!
Worlds of fun is honoring our military! Veterans of the American Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard can all enjoy complimentary admission on July 4th during Celebrate America at Worlds of Fun. (Complimentary tickets only available for active duty, retired, or reserve military with honorable or medical discharge. Please present valid government issued ID at a Guest Relations booth located at the Worlds of Fun or Oceans of Fun main entrance in order to receive your admission.) Also, Veterans get discounted tickets for their family too!
Like I mentioned before, Worlds of Fun is doing many promotions! Be on the lookout for their Food Truck Roundup on August 20th and Dollar Days September 3rd-5th!

Our family celebrated a day early on July 3, 2016. We couldn’t have asked for much nicer weather! It was 65 degrees and cloudy. That is much better than the 100 degree weather we have had. Plus the rain had stopped all evening and it made it a great night!
My kids had a blast riding all the rides! There was very little wait time for the rides and we did so many of them! We love riding them all together even with the 2 year old! This time we played games and my 7 year old won a huge rainbow unicorn and told everyone she met about it!
Then there were the fireworks! An employee suggested that the best view we might have would be from the parking lot. We decided to go that route! We grabbed blankets from the car, I had kids snacks in my purse, and we cuddled up and watched them above us!
Even with a cloudy night it was a great display after a fun night at the park!

I think it’s wonderful for these places to honor our military in this way. I am a Marine mom so I appreciate those little courtesies so much!

It does look like a fun place. My grandchildren would enjoy it, I’m sure. Especially if there’s a roller coaster. I love that they celebrate our soldiers, past and present.
