Miracles From Heaven Review is brought to you by my Press Junket experience.
Seeing the movie Miracles from Heaven in L.A. was an awesome experience. I accompanied a group of awesome social media influencers to the screening here. This Miracles From Heaven Review is written from my heart. We were flown into town, and enjoyed awesome accommodations the The London West Hollywood! Not only were the rooms beautiful, but the hotel was amazingly accommodating as well!
The day flew by in a whirlwind and before I knew it, we were meeting in the lobby with our representative from Sony. She loaded us up on a bus and we headed right over to the AMC Santa Monica to catch the show!
This movie was amazing! The fact that it is inspired by a true story makes it that much more amazing. I will say that each and every single actor that played a role in this film did an amazing job. I think I went through just about every single emotion known to man while watching this film. I laughed. I cried. I sighed. My heart expanded. I even cried while laughing at times. It’s just amazing. I’d read up on the story of Anna Beam before heading into the movie, so I figured I’d be prepared for the sad parts… knowing the outcome at all.
Wrong.
Nothing can prepare you to embark on the roller coaster of emotions, fear, faith, and growth that this family encountered during their journey with Anna. Kylie Rogers did an amazing job playing this brave little girl and Jennifer Garner definitely portrayed Christy Beam in the spotlight she deserves. We can’t forget the awesome performances by Martin Henderson and Queen Latifah either. The movie just wouldn’t have been the same without the strong characters they played. Seeing Kevin Beams perspective of a father’s point of view during all of this really moved me. I have three little girls of my own, and I couldn’t help but picture my husband in that predicament.
Overall, I think this is a movie that will be talked about for years to come. It’s one that everyone should see, and a true tale about family. The male role in the family is such a heavy part of this movie that I wouldn’t even classify it as a chick flick. I think everyone could relate to it in some way or another, whether your Kevin, Anna, or Christy Beam; Anna’s sisters, or the fun-loving and hilarious Angelica.
