If you’ve been following along on my Gods of Egypt adventures, you know that my husband and I got the opportunity of a lifetime to visit NYC for the Gods of Egypt Red Carpet Premiere and After Party! Watching the incredible premiere of the movie Gods of Egypt at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square in NYC, we ran through the rain and boarded back on our bus provided by Lionsgate to continue our journey! As if the incredible experience of the red carpet and movie weren’t enough… we were now headed to the official Gods of Egypt After Party!

The location?

The rooftop of the luxurious Standard Hotel located in the meatpacking district in downtown NYC!

This beautiful venue features amazing floor to ceiling windows from wall to wall. From one side of the room, you can view the Hudson river. The other side of the room offers a breathtaking view of the sweeping city. To say that it was upscale and posh would be an unjust understatement. It was simply amazing! Waitresses walked around with champagne and hors d’ oeuvres while faint music played in the background. All of the attendees were impeccably dressed to the nines and enjoyed conversing amongst themselves throughout the room.

The party lasted about a total of 2 hours, kept the vibe of a networking event. It was awesome to see the cast laughing and conversing amongst one another, and their strong rapport with one another was apparent. Overall, this exactly the type of event you would imagine when thinking of upscale New York.
