Ingredients
1 Can of Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls
2 Granny Smith Apples
1 Cup of Splenda® Sugar Blend Use regular Splenda for even less calories!
3 TBS of Sugar
3 TBS of Margarine
1/2 cup of Diet 7up
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Cut each apple into 8 pieces. By cutting them in half they will cook a little better than being a big 1/4 chunk.
3. Melt margarine.
4. In a separate bowl mix Splenda® Sugar Blend and Cinnamon.
2. Place one crescent triangle and wrap it around the two apple slices while stretching it as tight as you can. Dip each one in melted margarine. Then in the Sugar mix. Place in baking dish.
3. Layer your baking dish with the apples. Then pour the rest of the sugar mix on all of them evenly.
4. Poor the 7 up lightly around each of the apples.
5. Bake for 17-20 minutes.

Those look amazing! I love how they retained their ooey gooeyness, even though you substituted the Splenda for sugar.

Now that is a sweet Treat that my Mother -in-law could enjoy! She has to watch the amount of sugar she gets. And this would be perfect!

I’ll have to look up a recipe that uses real ingredients, not the chemicals used in this one.

I wasn’t real sure of the procedure. I kept looking for how much cinnamon at first , then I guess I was supposed to mid the real sugar with the splenda ,. I don’t use splenda so I used Stevia. Hope it turns out ok. Not a whole lot invested but I’m counting on a desert for my hubby tonight. He’s a chef so pray that I survive the critique… only kidding , he’s happy with anything I can put ice cream on …after a n 11 + hour workday.
