As new mom, I was overwhelmed with the number of baby products and gadgets out there! I was even so nervous to do my baby registry, that I asked Enza (an experienced mom) to help me. There are just so many things out there to choose from. I had no clue what I needed and didn’t need, as well as what brands to choose and so on!
One item that I was looking for was an infant carrier. But again, I had no clue where to start! There are so many carriers out there with a variety of price points. Do I need an expensive one, or can I get by with a basic one? Do I want some kind of cloth wrap or one that is a little more sturdy? Those were the questions running through my mind.
Then, Enza asked me to try out the Evenflo Platinum 3 in 1 Carrier. I knew Evenflo was a trusted brand, and the carrier sounded like something I would be interested in trying, so I told her I’d give it a go! One feature that caught my attention was the fabric that was designed to balance the baby’s body temperature. My little princess gets hot pretty easily, so I wanted to make sure that she was comfortable and did not get overheated. Upon opening the box, I also noticed how lightweight the carrier was, yet it still seemed extremely safe and sturdy. I knew I would be comfortable carrying around my precious cargo!
I was ready to try out the carrier, though to be honest, I was a little nervous. My little one struggled the first few weeks of her life with colic. She was mis-diagnosed several times with things like reflux, allergies, etc. I had tried to put her in a couple other carriers that friends had loaned me, but she would not have any part of them. Half of the battle was her crying and not feeling well. The other half was how stressed I was, given the fact that she was crying, and I was trying to put her into a complicated carrier that was so hard to figure out!
When I put on the Evenflo Platinum 3 in 1 Carrier, it really was pretty easy. There are only two points that need to snap. I just had to adjust the carrier so it fit correctly on me. Once I got it on, my baby fit in easily. I basically just had to slide her in from the top. There are leg holes for the babies legs to hang through, as well as arm holes. The weight range for this carrier is 7-25 pounds. My little one is only about 10 pounds, so she did not want her arms through the holes, as she was snuggling up against me. Her head was also tucked down in the carrier, so it almost seems a little big for her. I imagine a 7 pound baby would seem almost too small for it, but I can see how this is a great carrier for larger babies. One other thing I liked was that this carrier is gender neutral. It could be used for a boy or girl, and dads could also wear this carrier with out reservation. Overall, I do really like this carrier and think I will use it (especially as my baby grows). It will be easy to put her in when doing things around the house, and even to use out and about. I would recommend it to others, especially to those that want a quality product that is easy to use.

I didn’t know Evenflo even made carriers! This looks like a great one though. If I still had babies I would definitely check it out.

I wish this had been available 10 years ago when we were pouching our kids. It looks so much better than the one we had.

I love that this faces in. I really wish I had this option when mine were tiny.

I don’t know how I could have gotten anything done without a baby carrier. My youngest lived in ours!
