If you love Tim Burton you are going to love Frankenweenie. The movie is filled with new and old amazing Frankenweenie characters. I think this will be Tim Burton’s best one yet! Have you heard of Frankenweenie yet? Frankenweenie is about a boy who loses his dog, takes some inspiration from his science class, and then brings him back to life! Sparky, the boy’s dog, is just not the same! 🙂 The movie looks funny, artistic, and PERFECT for right before Halloween! It will be shown in 3D giving in an entirely different element!!
The voice cast includes four actors who worked with Burton on previous films: Winona Ryder (“Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands”), Catherine O’Hara (“Beetlejuice,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas”), Martin Short (“Mars Attacks!”) and Martin Landau (“Ed Wood,” Sleepy Hollow”).
From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes “Frankenweenie,” a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
Victor is played by Charlie Tahan. Elsa is played by Winona Ryder. Edward Frankenstein, Mr. Bergemeister, Nassor, Dad, & Bob are all played by Martin Short. Victor’s Mom, Gym Teacher, & Weird Girl are all played by Catherine O’Hara! All of the characters started with inspiration from previous Tim Burton movies!

Victor Frankenstein – The main protagonist, a young boy who loves science and brings his dog Sparky back to life.
Sparky – Victor’s beloved pet dog who is brought back to life with a lightning bolt. He becomes the central character of the story.
Elsa Van Helsing – Victor’s classmate and neighbor, who develops a crush on him. She becomes Victor’s partner in his scientific experiments.
Mr. Frankenstein – Victor’s supportive and understanding father, who encourages his son’s scientific pursuits.
Mrs. Frankenstein – Victor’s loving and caring mother, who worries about him and his obsession with science.
Weird Girl – A classmate of Victor who has a peculiar cat named Mr. Whiskers. She has a strange and eerie intuition.
Bob – Victor’s friend and classmate who is intrigued by Victor’s experiments and offers his assistance.
Nassor – Another classmate of Victor who is the school bully. He tries to steal Victor’s science fair project.
Edgar “E” Gore – A classmate and friend of Victor who is easily frightened. He assists Victor in his experiments.
Toshiaki – A Japanese classmate who is competitive and tries to win the science fair.
Persephone – Elsa’s pet poodle who gets reanimated along with other animals by Victor’s experiment.
Mr. Rzykruski – Victor’s science teacher who inspires him and encourages his scientific endeavors.
Mayor Burgemeister – The mayor of New Holland who is paranoid and wants to keep everything under control.
Mr. Whiskers – The cat owned by Weird Girl, who she believes has supernatural abilities.
