I LOVE the Minions movies! The new 2015 Minions Movie was awesome! It did NOT disappoint! It was everything I had hoped for and more! They are seriously the cutest things ever and I totally want to hug each one of them. The movie has everything your family needs to keep you on suspense, having you laughing, and falling in love!
The movie talks about how the Minions live for their master, but they have trouble keeping masters. They also take each loss very hard. They end up creating their own colony but they were angry, sad, and depressed without a master. So Kevin (a minion) has a plan to venture out of the colony to find a master! Stuart is chosen to go with him and Bob was so eager and since nobody else volunteered he went with Kevin too!
Bob was my favorite character in the movie. He took on characteristics of a baby and since I have a one year old I could totally relate to his crazy antics! So the 3 leave and finally have a plan to make it to Florida to visit Villain-Con (their rendition of Comic-Con but for villains)! This is where they bump into evil Scarlet Overkill where she chooses the minions to work with her. Eventually they venture to England to try to steal a crown for Scarlet. Now the rest of the movie is for you to go to theaters and watch! YEP! I am not giving spoilers this time around!
Lets just say my favorite part is when Bob drops the mic! Although it happens early in the climax of the film, I would have been satisfied at this part if the credits went rolling down the screen! The movie is seriously adorable and great! So enjoy taking your family to see it!
I took my 6 year old and she was laughing a lot. Right now she struggles keeping her attention in a movie, but I know that if my husband was there too she would have been fine. She just gets really nervous in the chase scenes and covers her face and misses all of the funny parts. She at first said she didn’t like it, but once we got home she told my husband she did! So that is a 6 year old for you! I think if we would have had the option to go to an earlier showing she would have been fine, but we hit bedtime shortly into the movies’ start. The TRUE measurement was that she didn’t ask to go potty once! So I would call that a WIN!
