I am so excited to share with you that “The Secret Life of Pets” has partnered with General Mills Cereal to offer FREE “The Secret Life of Pets” character premiums in specially marked boxes! Before even being offered this giveaway opportunity for all of you, we already have a box of Lucky Charms that came with Snowball. Plus, if you are from Kansas City I also have/had a ticket giveaway to go and see this movie with your family!

My kids are so excited to see this movie and they LOVE PETS so much! They have been wanting me to purchase ONLY cereal that has Secret Life of Pets toys! With Lucky Charms being my favorite, I don’t mind one bit!

My kids have LOVED their cereal!  We actually store our cereal in sealed plastic containers in our cabinets. So as soon as I empty the box, my kids love to play and read the box and of course…grab their new toy!

    When I was about 3 years old we got a kitty and I named him Squirrel-Ha-Sue. To this day people talk about him. He was like my borther growing up. BTW he had to have 3 names like people do, he ran fast like a squirrel, ha because I thought it was funny and Sue because Johnny Cash sang a song about a man named Sue.

    My favorite pet hands down was our dog Tess. Tess was there through my pregnancy and literally guarded over my daughter from the get go. Tess was the kindest dog I have ever had and if there was ever a locust near my daughter you can bet Tess was there to eat it. (My daughter has never been a fan of locusts and screamed everytime she saw one)We lost Tess back in March, but she lived almost 16 amazing years.

    my dog mickey who was a lab/husky mix he was so sweet he recently died in May at 11 years old from falling and breaking his leg and finding out he had bone cancer all in the same day!

    My favorite pet was my kitty Boots – my brother brought him home one day when I was really little and my mom actually said yes to keeping him! He quickly became my cat. Following me around everywhere, sleeping with me, cuddling with me, everything. I loved him so much he was my best friend! I miss him like crazy

    Cookie was my one and only dog who could never be replaced. Her fur was completely black as a puppy and as she started aging, she grew a white beard along with white hairs all over her tummy. She’d show embarrassment after letting out gas which was always hilarious. I havent seen her in 3 years and i have no clue of where she is and i miss her everyday.

    I can’t pick a favorite pet- it’s like picking a favorite child! I love all my past and present pets. My childhood dog, Lucky, is special to me because we adopted her from a shelter that said she only had a day or two left. She was too shy and scared to come to people and they thought she’d need to be put down. We took her home and it took some work, but she turned out to be a great dog! I’m glad we took a chance.

    I have had 3 of the best dogs two were litter mates and the one I have now is named LaMancha and he is a golden retriever. I can’t wait to see this movie.

    I have three cats and I love them all. They are messy and annoying but I love them! Cheeto is the one that spends the most time with me. He’s a grouchy jerk during the day but at night he turns into a fat orange puddle of warm cuddles.

    My favorite pet would be Star a half Rottweiler/German Shepherd. She was a great protector of our children and us, very gentle. She would sleep in my daughters room at night to be her protector. She did not have a mean bone in her body towards our family, but if she was outside at night and someone would try to come in our yard, her bark alone scared people.

    I LOVE all my pets equally, but Matisse, a cat who was sent to the vet to be put down because he got mud on his previous owners carpet! Thank goodness the vet realized there was nothing wrong with this beautiful and sweet cat and brought him to the shelter. Matisse was the sweetest soul and just loved and trusted me to his fullest extent. I only had four years with this angel before I found out he had feline AIDS and his health started deteriorating little by little, until his quality of life was so diminished that I had to put him down. RIP beautiful angel.

    I always had a pet growing up, but since I’ve become an adult, I haven’t really had a pet in years!!! I would love to have a cat or dog. Hopefully someday soon we can have a pet again. But definitely looking forward to seeing Secret Life of Pets!!

    My favorite pet I have owned was my little chihuahua, Lola. She died last year suddenly in her sleep. She was such a cuddly, loving dog. She even seemed to know when I was hurting and where! I have some medical problems and when i’d have pain she would lick where the pain was, or sometimes lay down ontop of where the pain was. We were so connected. I miss her so much!!

    My first babies were 2 chihuahuas, Kirby and Colby. I got them my senior year of high school. There was an awful teen pregnancy problem in my school. A puppy seemed like a better option than a baby to me lol. My furry guys stuck with me through school, dating, getting married and having my kids. Sir Colby passed away last year, but Kirby still stands guard over my son every day. 🙂

    It’s hard to say I have ever had a favorite pet because I love ALL the pets I’ve ever owned. I think the most unusual one though was a squirrel that had been separated from it’s mother. I raised it until it could be released into the wild. It was truly a wonderful experience!

    That’s a tough one as I’ve owned 3 dogs and 2 cats. One of my dogs a poodle named April was a great dog, very loving and cure and my current cat has the same personality. I feel as if April has been reincarnated as my cat Desiree.
