Captain America: Civil War Movie Quotes

There are TONS and TONS of one-liners in the new Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War movie. I decided, as I was able to screen the movie to share all of the Captain American: Civil War movie quotes with all of you. I just wanted to give you a heads up that there were so many, that these were just a few that stood out the most. I also did my best at trying to remember who said which line. I plan to see the movie several more times to add to this list (it was amazing!)!!!

If you haven’t seen the movie, I am going to suggest not reading through the following lines. If you do, you will probably piece together some spoilers that you won’t want to know about or at least some pretty funny one-liners!

Captain America: Civil War Movie Quotes

“If he sees us coming, it won’t be a problem. He hates us.” –Captain America (Steve Rogers)

“Thank you, Sam.” – Scarlet Witch

The secretary of state throws out accusations that are true about the Avengers having “unlimited power and no supervision” and being “vigilantes” more than heroes. There is a true problem of them saving a few people with expense to the innocent. “The Avengers will no longer be a private organization. They need to be governed by the union.”

The Secretary of State lets them know that, “in 3 days the UN meets. If they can’t come to a decision they like, they retire.”

When Peggy Carter dies at the funeral, her niece reads a quote from Peggy. She says that, “you compromise when you can…but when you can’t, you don’t.” This leaves Captain verified in his though process of not signing the UN’s papers.

The Black Panther is the reason that Captain and his team get arrested. His quote is, “Congrats, Captain, you are now a criminal.”

Vision is cooking for Scarlet Witch. “Alternately, we can order a pizza.” –Scarlet Witch
